The Choice by Robert Whitlow Book Review

"One young woman. Two very different roads. The choice will change everything". This is the story of a young girl who becomes pregnant while still in school in 1974. She is faced with many options and is unclear what choice she should make. The beginning of the book tells us all about Sandy's life. A chance encounter at a convenience store changes everything for Sandy. An "ageless" woman approaches her and tells her a mysterious prophecy and then warns her to choose well. Sandy also is told that she is having twins. Twins only add more choices to the many choices that Sandy already has.
The next part of the book jumps 30 years to when Sandy is a teacher and is confronted with her past. An unwed student is pregnant and goes to Sandy for help. I do not want to give away more of the story, but there is a reunion, and it is not a good one. The "ageless" lady at the convenience store from 30 years earlier was right in her warning. Sandy does what only a mother could do.
The book had a very nice ending, and the plot was well written. Robert Whitlow did a very good job of weaving  Christian beliefs into everyday society. There is also a Group Guide at the end of the book to provoke more a more thoughtful examination of the book.

I was given the opportunity to review this book from booksneeze.com however all thoughts and opinions are my own.
